Is the version of Office you are using also known as Office 97? If so,
Thomas Stockwell of Midrange Computing wrote about a problem with Office
97 (particularly Word 97) and CA/400 for 95. The information I'm looking
at can be found in MC's Client Access/400 Expert newsletter -
March/April 97 edition. He suggested installing Service Pack SF36717 for
V3R1M0 clients and SF36801 for V3R1M1 clients. The problem was some sort
of conflict with CA/400's network printer function intercepting calls to
the same functions that Word is using for printing.
