Does this include the installation of Turnover itself, or just adding a new
application into it? Turnover setup can vary widely depending upon whether
or not your system is already organized for its use (libraries, security),
whether or not you already have an application set up that can be copied and
modified for the new one, and whether or not you are distributing objects
between systems. It also depends on how knowledgeable the person setting it
up is about the product and how the AS/400 works.

Twelve days seems a little steep to me but, given the variables, not out of
the realm of possibility. We can set up a new BPCS application in 2-3 days
(and that includes setting up for the AS/Set CASE tool, which most folks
don't have to deal with). Ours is quick because we have established sets and
projects to copy from, our distribution piece is already in place for all
affected systems, and we don't use Wise Desk.

Setting up everything from scratch CAN be a daunting task. New applications
have to be created, and libraries for promotion. Projects must be created.
User's must be authorized at both the application and project levels (laying
this out can be VERY time consuming if there are many folks involved).
Levels of AS/400 security must be established, and (depending upon how fancy
you want to get) security reference objects created for each object type. If
your application requires custom compile programs, new object types have to
be set up for set up for each type of this and made valid for the
application. I won't even get into user exit programs, there is much, much
more. If you have any specific questions, feel free to mail me directly...
