Novell Netware on the FSIOP (IPCS)

I am attempting to install Novell Netware 4.1 on the FSIOP (IPCS). The 
FSIOP is installed in the AS/400 9406 Model 530 #2162 which is running on 
OS/400 V3R7.

I'm refering to the manual "Integrating AS/400 with Novell Netware" 
(SC41-4124-01) as an installation guide. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck at 
the step of installing a Netware client on the workstation. I've 
established a physical connection between the FSIOP and the workstation 
(i.e. the cabling) and executed the Install Netware Server (INSNTWSVR) 
command which presumably installs the server software on the AS/400. 
However, the next step of installing a Netware client on the attached 
workstation which is suppose to get the FSIOP and the workstation talking 
to each other doesn't seem to work. 

I'm new to both AS/400 and Novell Netware so I would greatly appreciate it 
if someone could shed some light on this and share his/her experience.
