Programming Around Bugs

Ah, yes...  There were a lot of bugs that we programmed around...  And
still program around.  And a lot of times the bug is long gone, but the
'fix' is still programmed by hand.

Is there any record of 'fixed bugs you don't have to program around
anymore?'  (:
