  • Subject: FTP Exit programs
  • From: Bleddyn Williams <bleddyn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Could anyone tell me if the following is possible I have a feeling it
should be.

To take the FTP exit program similar to that used for anonymous loggin
and using an FTP connection hit the 400.

When the exit program runs it looks to see if the login is one of a
series existing in a file which contains various bits of information
about different update date/time stamps for function files held on the
PC. If it does exist then these update attributes are used to retrieve
information from various files they relate to on the 400 and build the
changes into a flat file for transfer within the FTP connection.

When this exit program finishes the login there should be a file built
which is then transferred by the next stage of the batch file on the PC.

If the transfer is OK (I have seen information on looking for this),
then the connection is dropped.

Now should that work OK, or has anyone any ideas on how it could be
improved as an idea?

Thanks Bleddyn

Aplogies if this appears twice firewall problems !!
