It would be easier for you, if you maintain a constant CYMD format for the Date fields. In the RPG you can very well get the 6 digit date by using a generic routine. In this case you need not worry about the Input format, you have to just take care of the output format(It's easier to get the of the Output format by looking at the RPG,DSPF..). ????
