Try looking for the startup joblog with WRKJOB QSTRUPJD. (If there isn't one you may want to put a CHGJOB LOG(4 0 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES) as first command in your startup program). Suspect an authority problem to STRHOSTSVR command. (Check with DSPOBJAUT STRHOSTSVR *CMD). You could change owner of startup program to QSECOFR and do a CHGPGM xxxxx USRPRF(*OWNE). (oops - *OWNER).
