Yes, but this is no substitute for a well-planned history database and the
tools with which to report on it.  Snapshots in time can be re-produced
without storing multiple copies of them.  I agree that we are going to see
more of it, but that doesn't mean that we SHOULD.  Just as the Internet
contains "jewels" and "junk", we need to make sure that we are not paying for
the storage of "junk".
