I've done quite a bit of work with them. I Wrote a 6 plant(running 24/7)
data mirroring(real time) to a central site using a lot of 
triggers & APPC programs. I also did a session at COMMON with a 
Trigger example. 

I could mail you examples & a couple of notes about them if you like.
