API for DSPJOB command

<If anyone had experience with DSPJOB using API, could you give me some
<input.  I would like to display a job for example - BATCH01.  I want to
<know
<if BATCH01 is currently active.  What is the API, and where I can get an
<example .  So far I can not find the right one from INFOSEEKER.
