Well, as you can tell from the timestamps, the CPE3448 and CPIAD08
happened 25 minutes before the MCH3402 and are not related to your
problem. These messages are normal (I get them all the time).
I THINK they occur if you don't have IPX protocol configured.

To confirm what your environment is:
        OS/400 V3R1M0 with PTF cum package C7044310.
        5763-XD1 V3R1M2 with Service Pack SF39220.
Have you configmed that this Service Pack is applied to the PC and not
just the AS/400 ?

My setup is almost identical, except for being on V3R2 at PTF C7063320.
We do have a system at another office with OS/400 V3R1M1 & PTF C7044310
and they have no problems.
In both locations we are running Windows 95 connected via TCP/IP over
Ethernet.

When the MCH3402 occured there should have been a VLIC log created. DId
you print that of via STRSST and send it in to IBM ?

A guess on the MCH3402 - it may be that one of the programs required for
file transfer is damaged/corrupted. You may want to try reinstalling
the OS/400 Host Servers support, and 5763-XD1 V3R1M2 on the AS/400
(followed by the PTF's from the cum package again).
