Good News Everybody!

The new search engine is LIVE!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

There is considerably less risk here than anywhere else.

Without FTP being turned on, there is little risk from file deletion
damage.

Most hackers do not "know" the AS/400, and will be unable to "back door"
there way in to your AS/400 system from SMTP.

Yet there is still risk. Once connected via any means to your AS/400, there
is a hacker who could figure out how to get into the rest of your system.

Hackers are continually on the lookout for new TCP/IP numbers. A new TCP/IP
number represents a system that has not yet been hacked onto.
