I think the question was here before, but can someone tell me how to configure a tcp/ip printer. I think I forgot something. What I did was: I created a host table entry for the printer. Then I got the following error: SNDTCPSPLF cannot verify local host name "smstest" That's right I think, that's my AS/400. So I changed the host table entries and add the name SMSTEST to the table. When I now send a splf he is sending and there is no message, he stay sending and sending, when I work with the command SNDTCPSPLF, I got an error: "Remote host system rejected the open attempt, the remote host does not have ports available for use or does not support telnet". Can somebody help me out?? Maurice * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
