I am trying to connect a PC with Client Access 3.1 to an AS400 via WFWG
using the Microsoft network with the MSDLC for AS400 connectivity. The
network card is a Madge Smart AT ringnode using the latest version 5
drivers.

I can connect to an NT server drive ok so i know the microsoft network is
working.

Novell IPX is not being used for this configuration. The only requirement
is to connect the PC to a NT server and the AS400.

However, when i start Client Access i can sign on ok but has soon has the
Rumba emulator starts and the enter key is pressed the emulator locks up
and the only solution is to reboot the PC.

The PC has 8Mb of RAM. This configuration works fine if using a 3com
ethernet card.

Any clues ??
