  • Subject: Adding new ILE module to existing service program
  • From: Rob Persing <rpersing@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I have created a application using RPG modules, service programs, and
binding directories. So far I have enjoyed using modules to build
applications. However, there is one thing that frustrates me. I have not
found a way to add a new module to an existing service program without
re-creating the service program and listing every single module again. Is
there a way to accomplish this without re-createing the service program?
If not will IBM give us this feature in the future? The UPDSRVPGM is nice
when you make a change to a existing module already part of a sevice
program. Why can't there be a option to add a new module to a service
program using UPDSRVPGM?

Thanks for your help in advance.
