I have a really good opportunity for an iSeries professional with Infor/Mapics XA and PowerLink experience. My client has been in business since 1974 and is the leading North American manufacturer in their product niche. I have placed several IT people with this client in the past 8-9 years. They are still there and every time I have talked with them, they tell me how much they like working for this client. Even though this opening is in a smaller Midwest town, I would encourage you to take a look at this opening. They are looking for an IT analyst with manufacturing knowledge to support and assist them in getting the most out of their ERP software package (Infor XA). While this will be a minimal part of the position, there will be some RPG development work. They have a competitive salary plus a 9% bonus potential, full benefits and if needed a really strong relocation assistance bonus (around $10000 net). Another huge benefit is that this client is in a state that has NO state income taxes!

I also have an iSeries Development position Eastern Iowa. This client is looking for a developer with RPG experience who is interested in using Free Format and being involved in Web Development on the iSeries. They are willing to do training on Free Format and other tools they use. The person they hire will be using up-to-date modern development tools as this client is in the process of completely modernizing their development process. They use a formal development process including documentation. My client has a reputation for taking care of their employees and values creative people who speak up when they see a better way of accomplishing tasks. They have a competitive Compensation and Benefits package.

I have another opening in Central Minnesota for a iSeries Programmer Analyst. This is with a highly successful manufacturing company and it is an iSeries shop using RPG and BPCS as their ERP software. The BPCS has been modified so that specific experience isn't needed. If you have manufacturing experience and have worked with an iSeries ERP package, that will be sufficient.
Let me know if you are interested in learning more about these opportunities. If you are, I will get you the complete details.
