iSeries Project Manager

I have a client who has a newly created position for a Project Manager. This client is an IBM-Midrange iSeries shop. They are looking for a person who has a manufacturing support background. ERP Software experience and who has done some RPG development in the past. You will prioritize, assign work, oversee and manage all development related projects. The IT Director is doing this now, but with all he has on his plate, they are looking for someone to assist him and coordinate all projects. He needs a person who can read code, manage projects and work independently. Someone who is highly organized and can keep projects moving along as planned including nudging the team to meet deadlines if necessary. They are in the process of plaining an upgrade of their ERP software and you would coordinate the full project. They also have a backlog of smaller projects and you would need to assist in coordinate priorities and assigning tasks to the development team (13 Programmers). The client is located in southern Michigan (not in the Detroit area). The company has a competitive salary and benefit packages.
