I don't think we're are related but you never know. I'm sorry to hear about your problem as looks like the UK job market is going to be tough for awhile.

I work in the banking area and there are a number of banks in London using i Series, so their might be some opportunities for RPG programmers.

Is there one? No, but seriously, I work for a well known entertainment retailer
that has recently gone into administration. While I am really very busy this
week with requests for data, I am anticipating that next week I am going to be
busy putting together a CV. Is anyone looking for system i jobs in the London
area at the moment? What's it like out there? Any advice/recommendations?
