I have an opening to fill for BPCS in my client's Rock Hill, South Carolina facility. They are seeking a sharp self-motivated person who can interact well with people. They would prefer someone who is very eager to learn and has strong potential. The right person will have some BPCS version 6 experience and exposure to a manufacturing environment. The immediate need is to work with counterparts in Belgium to replace an existing BPCS 6.1 environment in Rock Hill with a modified version from Belgium. The first phase of this project will involve 1-2 weeks travel to Belgium. Limited travel within North America is also
expected.After the implementation, this person will be the on-site expert in Rock Hill and work closely with the facility manager and users in day-2-day support and interfacing with Belgium for second level support and change requests. It is anticipated that additional companies will be set up on this same software in the U.S., so the responsibilities of this position are expected to expand. There will not be a significant amount of programming, but the successful applicant will need strong programming skills in order to debug and understand programs enough to identify problems and describe users requested modifications.
