Immediate Need for AS400 / RPG IV Programmer

We have a direct client, based in Pittsburgh PA who is in need of some
iSeries , AS400 RPG Programming. This is a Fortune 500 company with a
very exciting project opportunity, great working environment, and long
term opportunities. 

 

The initial project is:

 

Duration: 6-9 Months

 

Location: Pittsburgh PA

 

Start: ASAP

 

Rate: $50/hr

 

Minimum years experience in the following areas: 
2 to 4 years of experience with gathering business requirements,
creating application design documents and development on the iSeries in
the area of AS/400 RPG IV and CL. 


Work related skills: 
ILE concepts/designs, RPG IV 
Knowledge of SQL is preferred. 
Experience with design, creation and implementation in multiple AS/400
RPG/CL environments for critical projects. 
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills and strong
ability to perform as part of a team. 

This is to support two projects that include interaction with other
iSeries applications and interfacing with a Unix/Oracle environment.
