FT EDI P/A location: North NJ

Essential Function:
Responsible for design, development and maintenance of EDI
communication systems.
Responsible for leading and implementing computer related customer
requirements.

Scope:
Communicates and coordinates with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing,
etc? in all divisions on the customer requested EDI initiatives.
Drives the vendor EDI initiatives based on the vendor
requirements set by NP Purchasing. Manage all computer related customer
requirements such as UCCNet, RFID, etc?.
Position Responsibilities

1.Responsible for maintaining/upgrading/adding trading partners on the
AS/400 Gentran system.
2.Responsible for maintaining/upgrading/adding versions, standards and
transactions on the AS/400 Gentran system.
3.Responsible for maintaining/upgrading/adding communications on the
AS/400 Gentran system including but not limited to by-sync, internet
AS2, HIPAA compliant FTP, etc? 4.Responsible for upgrading the AS/400
Gentran system to most current software.
5.Responsible for all RPG and CL programming involved in EDI processing.
6.Responsible for the redesign and development of existing EDI
transaction processing to a more generic approach rather than the
current customer specific approach.
7.Responsible for the design and development of new EDI initiatives
including but not limited to Vendor ASN, Carrier Shipment Info, etc?
8.Responsible for monitoring all EDI activities and applying
fixes/changes and/or cleansing data accordingly.
9.Responsible for complying with customer requests.
10.Responsible for creating and distributing standards to our
vendors.
11.Responsible for maintaining EDI project list and addressing projects
in priority order.
12.Responsible for keeping Director of IT up to date on all EDI activities.

Minimum Requirements

Equivalent Education Level Requirement: College Degree preferred

Experience Required: 3-5 years in EDI mapping, design, analysis, and
programming on the AS/400 utilizing RPGLE and CL. Gentran experience a
plus.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
