The Sr. iSeries Programmer Analyst main role is to be part of a team 
responsible for the 
development, support and roll-out of our client's ERP and to ensure the stable 
operation
of global applications. This includes successfully planning, coordinating and 
directing the activities of design, code, test and implementation of systems 
and modifications to systems
related to the international manufacturing plants.
The job is located in our client's IT department in the greater Toronto area 
and supports their
global manufacturing plants.
POSITION REQUIREMNTS:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education in Computer Science with a minimum 5 
years
   experience in development and analysis using RPG400 ILE
- Must have manufacturing environment experience including shop floor control 
processes
  and good understanding of of current inventory or MRP/JIT processes
- Above average technical knowledge of RPG400 ILE CL and its components such as 
building SUBFILES, RPG Program Cycle, DDS, Job description, Data Queues and SQL 
is mandatory
- EDI and Customer Order Entry
- CMS400 ERP software experience would be  a defininate asset
- Minimum 3 years Canadian or US experience

WORK CONDITIONS:
- Some travel to the USA and International may be required
-  7x24 support one week out of each 3 week rotation
