Seeking a new and challenging position that would best utilize the skills,
knowledge, abilities that I have acquired to further my professional growth

I have 26 years experience working in the IT field using various IBM systems.
I started my carrier working on an IBM System 3 and am currently working with
an iSeries 810. I have also worked with various Unix systems developing shell
and PERL scripts, the majority of this work dealt with developing inter system

have included: application design, database design, systems programming,

In 1988 I start work at Waterfield as a programmer analysis.
In 1992 I was promoted to be the DBA as well as continuing to perform my
analysis responsibilities.
In 1996 I began taking on the responsibilities of the Unix Progress DBA, with
new responsibility I discontinued being an active programmer analysis. During
period I developed new skills developing Unix and PERL scripts.
In 1999 I was promoted to be the System Admin / DBA for the iSeries. I am
responsible for all iSeries related security and system functions. I have
and implemented a system monitoring application which is currently used to

and various vendors, these transfers are setup as dialup or internet
connections as
needed. I am the administrator of our current software change management
system MKS.
I perform the yearly iSeries Disaster Recovery tests.
I have many years experience supporting and developing application / system
using RPG ILE, RPG IV, CL, CL ILE, and system APIs. Along with this I have a
understanding of the database concepts and implementation on the iSeries.
