Our family of MKS Integrity application lifecycle management (ALM) products offers advanced technology with robust workflow, code management and analysis capabilities. This enterprise scale product is based on client/server architecture, extensive use of Java technology and integrates with a wide range of software development environments. In this role, you will be a critical player in the sales cycle of our application lifecycle management solutions. You will provide technical information and support to sales representatives, existing clients and prospects. You will conduct needs discovery discussions, lead the demonstration of MKS software via webex and occasionally on-site, help formulate solutions and help resolve implementation issues with the sales and support staff. This role requires outstanding listening and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to different types of audiences. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the software development life cycle and the ability to effectively link technical solutions with business issues. Your strong technical background in both distributed and AS/400 environments make you an ideal member in support of the sales effort. Duties of this role include, but are not limited to: • Needs analysis with customers • Delivering technical product demos for all MKS solutions (Integrity and AS/400) • Developing proof of concept demonstrations • Contributing technically to Request for Proposals and pilots • Conducting training sessions and implementations for local customers • Customer follow up to review results Requirements: • University or college degree in computer science, math or related discipline • Experience in application development • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Team player and results-oriented • Experience with software configuration management tools • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Solid experience in AS/400/iSeries and distributed development environments This position is based out of our Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, office (near Chicago).
