Essential Functions, Duties, Responsibilities:
    Teams with the Director of Business Intelligence and colleagues to
    develop global applications to satisfy Group requirements and provide
    competitive advantages.

    Interfaces with business leaders to identify key questions relating to
    business needs and

information priorities.
    Develops project plans and implements applications and processes to meet
these needs and priorities.
    Assists in data warehousing projects, development of web based reporting
    applications,

    internal and external

Portals, and integration of ERP and non-ERP systems.
    Fully documents applications and system processes.

    Prepares and participates in training end users and developing protocols
    for information interpretation.

    Technical Skills Required:

    Database development and administration (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.).

    Development of Business Analytics using OLAP technology and applicable
    reporting tools

    Firm grasp of database optimization and querying with SQL.

    Experience with ETL and/or UML tools.

    Web development and design.  (Portal development and online reporting a
    plus)

    Thorough understanding of Java and the J2EE platform (Portlets, Applets,
    EJB, JMS, etc.).

    Experience using IBM WebSphere application server, Portal server,
    Integration server a plus.

    Other Skills Required:

    Strong Communication Skills

    Good understanding of business processes

    Ability to articulated business processes in order to realize IT

    solutions

    Attention to Detail

    Bachelor*s degree in a quantitative field such as: Management
    Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics,
    Statistics, Econometrics, etc is required.  A minimum of 5 years*
    experience including: data-mining/warehousing, OLAP development, web
development, business process modeling, and/or systems integration. Excellent business acumen required, with *big picture* experience to
    understand how analytics relate to business issues.
