      Title : MAPICS Systems Analyst


      Job Description :
      - Seeking an experienced Analyst to provide business solutions in a
MAPICS XA environment.
      - Among responsibilities are project management, analysis, design, and
software solutions implementation.
      - Understanding of iSeries technology is needed - must be able to
analyze and read RPG programs, although no (or minimal) coding
responsibilities expected in this position.
      - Background with the following Mapics modules is of great importance:
MRP, EPDM, Inventory Management, Purchasing.
      - At least 3 years of Mapics experience (both functional and
technical) required.
      - Must be able collect requirements, create specifications and guide
projects to successful completion following Mapics standards and
regulations.
      - Seeking a Technical Analyst, and not a SuperUser.
      - Experience with comprehensive data transfer and data warehousing
procedures desired - Query/400 expertise needed.
      - In-depth knowledge of manufacturing software applications required.
      - Candidates local to the Cincinnati area preferred, although
non-local applicants will be considered.
      - This is a contract assignment with excellent opportunity for
long-term extension based on performance.
      - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
