I have a canned package in which we are accessing functionality under XA transaction control. It would be nice if I could introduce an MI override to force files to open under commitment control rather than modify and recompile the code.
59 is the parameter id value for commitment control in the UFCB and/or MI override, followed by one byte: x"00" - no commitment control x"82" - commitment control with *CHG locking level x"86" - commitment control with *CS locking level x"87" - commitment control with *ALL locking level Example: DCL DD COMMIT_ID AUTO BIN(2) INIT(59); DCL DD COMMIT_LEVEL AUTO CHAR(1) INIT(X"87");
