I have to analize libraries and report some summary information, like total
objects, total size, size by type of obj, aging (say 200 pgms never used
since two years, 150 one year, etc).

Total obj count can be retrieved using MI code posted by Gene Gaunt.

There are a lot of API's that allow to get other information but I was
looking for a faster way.

Giuseppe.
