Can't help you, but I'm glad to see there are others out there who like PL/I.

Too bad the OS/400 PL/I is such a lousy subset: it could have been so much better as an ILE language, particularly if they'd implemented more of it. In particular, there's so much of the ILE C runtime that they could have leveraged for things like interactive PUT and GET statements.
