Weird MI compiler error (RPG front end)

I have an RPG front end program that creates some MI some programs (via API
call) but not others. For example this one was taken from Leifs ebook and
SHOULD compile.

CPYBLAP MSG-TEXT, "Hello world", " ";  
CALLI SHOW-MESSAGE, *, .SHOW-MESSAGE;  
%INCLUDE SHOWMSG ;                     
RTX *;                                 

The error I get is a MCH0601:

Space offset X'00002000' or teraspace offset X'0000000000000000' is 
  outside current limit for object TSDPG014S2QSECOFR   220690.      
Application error.  MCH0601 unmonitored by QPRPH01P at statement    
  0000008341, instruction X'0000'.                                  
Function check. CEE9901 unmonitored by QPRCRTPG at statement *N,    
  instruction X'01BC'.    

Any idea what is goin on here?
