Strange compile problem -- MI400

I am getting the following error in my joblog when trying to compile a MI
program:

 

Message ID . . . . . . :   MCH4204       Severity . . . . . . . :   30

Message type . . . . . :   Escape

Date sent  . . . . . . :   02/19/04      Time sent  . . . . . . :   19:07:35

 

Message . . . . :   Operation code for instruction number X'000A' invalid.

Cause . . . . . :   Either the operation code does not exist, or the
optional 
  form of the operation code is not allowed.      

The statement X'000A' in question is the following:

00048  000A 00004A  1C46 A000 0015 0018           CMPNV(B) THE-OFFSET,
WCBTBL-SIZE/NLO(NEXT-WCB-TABLE) 
                    0028       

I am stumped as what to do with this error.  Please HELP!  :-)
