While I'm now successfully reading, updating, and writing datalink fields from MI, I'm a bit curious about some of the subfields in the datalink header. Obviously, the first two bytes are the overall length, like any other VARLEN field, and the URL length is 5 bytes of zoned decimal starting at byte 12, and the link type ("URL") immediately preceeds that, but what about the "00001" before the link type? What about the 8 nulls after the URL length? -- JHHL
