OIR

For files, is the mode (Update/Output/Input) included in the OIR 
somewhere?  Also, what value is located in the last 8 bytes of the first 
OIR  record.  It seems that if there is a second record then the last 
portion of the first record contains some value otherwise it's zero.

Is there an instruction you can call to return the file type if given the 
type/sub type numerical value?
