Bobby, If you absolutely want to have a technical way to do that, you have to use the QSZRTVPR API. Here is a short CLP sample that can be easily converted in MI code : Pgm Dcl &Buffer *Char 128 Call QSYS/QSZRTVPR (+ &Buffer + x'00000080' + 'PRDR0100' + '*OPSYS *CUR 0000*CODE ' + x'00000000' ) SndPgmMsg ('The current OS/400 release is' *BCAT %SST(&Buffer 20 6)) EndPgm Regards, Jean-Francois. -----Message d'origine----- De : Bobby.Hicks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Bobby.Hicks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Envoye : mardi 1 juillet 2003 12:58 A : Mi400@xxxxxxxxxxxx Objet : [MI400] Current release Is there a way to tell what the current release the OS400 is at in an MI program?
