This is news to me: there is a parameter that shows up on display command called "state used to call program" which is either *SYSTEM or *USER. System commands all are set to *SYSTEM, and if I try to call the CPP for such a command directly, I get an MCH6801 error (domain violation). I guess this means I need to understand domains a little better now. I suspect this this is what Chapter 11 is all about, eh? Joe
