In V5R1 it's a system value QLIBLCKLVL, I don't see it on a job description or job level. I know you could set it and then rename or delete a library, but that library IS in the library list so I don't know what would happen when SCPF tried to access a library that wasn't there. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. How do you do this? Is this at the job or system level (or either)? A reason to do this is if you ever wanted to delete or rename a library in a *LIBL a lock would prevent this. -mark _______________________________________________ This is the MI Programming on the AS400 / iSeries (MI400) mailing list To post a message email: MI400@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mi400 or email: MI400-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mi400.
