| 80% of all computer crimes are inside jobs.

This being true, I am still of the opinion that ANY computer is only as
secure as the people working on them are honest. I don't know that this is
strictly a problem that will EVER be solved by technology...

My question is: is there ANY computer that is secure against dishonest
people working from the inside...?

My answer is: No. Yet measures should be taken to minimize the risk, of
course.

| Maybe
| I just worked for the vendor and the vendor does not know that I
| have installed a backdoor.

Key point. (Again, NOT saying there is NO problem here.)

1) So can't IBM or Symantec or somebody else identify CHARACTERISTICS of
these kinds-a backdoors...? Or is that not really feasible, technically...?

2) Don't some industries BOND workers in sensitive areas...? Yes, but I
don't know if this is done much in the Computer Industry or not. Again,
might be a question where the Non-Tech list might give more opinions... (?)
