no need to find "real" terminal. DSPPFM and then F10 will
also show you the hexadecimal values. What happens
is that CA (or FTP) takes the original |, translates that to !
then when showing the result takes ! and translates it back
into a |. Whomever was responsible for that should turn
over in his grave.
