I have a question: When using the QINACTITV system value what part of the system keeps track of jobs? Would the interactive subsystem job have anything to do with it?? Here are the message details from a message queue attached to the QINACTMSGQ system value. >From job . . . . . . . . . . . : QINTER User . . . . . . . . . . . . : QSYS Number . . . . . . . . . . . : 142672 >From program . . . . . . . . . : QWTMEINA Maybe there is some info held with in the QINTER job (as were passwords <g>) that relates to the last activity of a job. Bryan Dietz =========================================== I have a utility which is kinda like WRKUSRJOB, and for interactive jobs in a DSPW condition, I wanted a column which showed how long that session had been waiting -- ie, how "active" or recent is the last usage.
