Leif, >ah, but the TDEs *are* accessible from user state (from V4R4 on). Then what meaneth your statement earlier this morning, to wit: "...the task description (TDE) for the process running the job. This information can be extracted, but not with a "normal" MI-program. One needs a specially patched program to get at this information,..." >Deemed safe by IBM because you cannot get a pointer to a TDE So what you are saying is the TDE is accessible from user state, if you can find it. But getting the pointer to it is what requires system state. Yet Fast400 was (is?) strictly user state. Can a job get a pointer to its own TDE, much like it can the PCO pointer? Doug
