Then what meaneth your statement earlier this morning, to wit:

So what you are saying is the TDE is accessible from user state, if you can find
it.  But getting the pointer to it is what requires system state.

Yet Fast400 was (is?) strictly user state.

Can a job get a pointer to its own TDE, much like it can the PCO pointer?
