I need to stop commands (CRTPGM, UPDPGM) from executing if a certain
parameter's value (after F4 prompting) is such-and-such. Although a
validity checking program that sends CPF0002 *ESCAPE to its caller would
work, these commands already have IBM validity checking programs.

So I'm trying the "command analyzer retrieve exit program" registration
facility. Well, the QIBM_QCA_RTV_COMMAND exit point doesn't recognize the
CPF0002 *ESCAPE trick. How, in some instances, can I stop a command, after
prompting, from executing?
