Bruce --
I would be interested in exploring a way to identify locks in the IFS.
My background is very much S/38, AS/400 and iSeries. A bit of AIX and PC
(OS/2) development. C/400 is a familiar tool depending on the application.
 Best regards

Subject: [MI400] Check for IFS Locks

There currently is no documented method to determine what jobs are
referencing a certain file in the Integrated File System. This is
a recognized need and should be addressed in a future release.

If you would like to explore some possible V5R1 workarounds you can
contact me directly.
