Chris, Can you email to me (privately if you wish) the source you are using, that generates this error. I have seen this error and fixed it, but can't now remember why/what it was and it's bugging me now to find out what it was... We need to hear from Chris. I'm sure Chris has the PEND; version. But does the name of the program that is stopped not look a bit odd? I would have expected CRTMICMP or some such.
