I had to try ... After QSCMATPG put a program template and other things into a file, I used a simple file update program to modify the X'0201' portion of the program template to X'0203', and then called QSCCRTPG. This created a pseudo-*SRVPGM object on my machine. It appears in PDM, DSPLIB, etc. like a *SRVPGM. But running MATBPGM MI instruction on this object gives MCH3410, "Program not eligible for operation." CALLX works okay. Then I tried X'0250' and QSCCRTPG created a pseudo-*JVAPGM object. +--- | This is the MI Programmers Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MI400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MI400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MI400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dr2@cssas400.com +---
