Dear Mr. Mahadevan (et al.): The last revision of the 5250 Functions Reference is fourteen years old this month. At that revision, 3180s were state of the art, and the InfoWindow and InfoWindow II series terminals were probably not even on the drawing board. The 5494 Controller Functions Reference is almost as old, barely mentioning most of the more modern features. As it stands, I find that there are features I can only understand by data stream analysis, passing the data stream through a monitored telnet proxy. -- James H. H.
