Chris, It's been many years since I've coded MI so this comment may not be applicable. Perhaps someone can confirm or eliminate my concern. At that time I had to code my own authority checking as the OS did not provide object security at the MI program level. An MI programmer on a timeshare service would have access to all objects owned by all of the service's customers. As a timeshare service customer I would find this extremely undesirable. I want to get an account by a Timesharing Services for doing some own MI development. Netshare400 got a very good recommendation in a similar question in the Midrange-List. As Leif pointed out in his course, *SERVICE special authority and access to the STRSST-command is almost a must in order to do some serious MI programming. Does anyone know if Netshare400 is willing to give this kind of authority ?
