_C_TS_malloc() _C_TS_free() _C_TS_realloc() _C_TS_calloc() Use these APIs to allocate and discard teraspace, not CRTS/DESS. Teraspace is not an MI object. CMPPTRA between two pointers to teraspaces used within the same process results in an equal condition. SETDP, SETDPADR, STSPPO fail in teraspace. SETSPPO may work incorrectly in teraspace because the binary source operand is not large enough to handle the maximum teraspace size (4 GB - 1). We've been using teraspaces in some ILE programs instead of heaps. We observed _C_TS_malloc() over the maximum teraspace size runs in sub-second time, but _C_TS_calloc() over the maximum teraspace size takes about 20 minutes. +--- | This is the MI Programmers Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MI400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MI400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MI400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dr2@cssas400.com +---
