For those of us who want to know what they install:

I loaded the coverletter for V4R2 SF63357, and here are the important parts 
of it:

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SA89982 :

    Displaying a window clears the background from a previously
    displayed file.  The background should be retained.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SA89982 :

    The AS/400 operating system is changed to correctly retain the
    the background display.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS :

    This PTF corrects a security problem.  The problem addressed with this
    PTF is different than the problem addressed in APAR SA89495.  The
    potential exists that your passwords may have been compromised.
    Therefore, after the application of this fix you may wish to change the
    passwords on your systems.
