> [Leif Svalgaard] There are many kinds of objects, here is some > information about a *PGM object: Yes, I failed to mention that I am primarily interested in *PGM. > This is a LARGE topic. Anything in particular you need? No, you and David McKenzie have fixed me up. I was trying to make notes on program object layout and was very frustrated by a percieved inconsistency between the output of DMPOBJ and the D/A/D session. Comparing the dumps didn't help, because, as I now know, the information for which I was looking wasn't even present in the objects I was dumping. During my experiments, I also noticed that it was trivial to change object ownership, which caused me to think some very sinister thoughts indeed. In particular, it made me think that SL30 = no security. Then again, I have not tried to resolve the address of an object to which I am not authorized, so, shrug. +--- | This is the MI Programmers Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MI400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MI400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MI400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dr2@cssas400.com +---
