Transmeta's new Crusoe chip is VLIW chip with excellent facilities for very fast emulation of other hardware. Just think of a direct execution of New MI (NMI) by the Crusoe chip. Needless to say, IBM seems to be interested in the chip. I think they even make it for transmeta. http://www.transmeta.com +--- | This is the MI Programmers Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MI400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MI400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MI400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: email@example.com +---
